This picture im kinda fond of. its just a simple guy looking on the other side, wondering. i wish i knew what he was thinking.
And as i go around the beautiful city, i cant help but notice every time i see a post with posters or announcements in it i look.i shoot. with these next set of pictures i took in different places of Markirina. (a city that is known for making shoes) from one place to another i took shots, and as i took shots i see posts like these.
here are some that i saw and fondly took picture everythime i see a good sign on it.

these are just some of the shots i took around marikina. now where is this "termite, the queen"
Having the opportunity the hang to a DSLR camera again the other day, i took advantage taking shots on everything that i see while on tour around Marikina city. Using a normal lens and a simple/old looking but stable camera, the canon eos 300D. i took shots as others might call, trigger happy.
I took shot on everything i thought was beautiful, i took shots on all the things that we're moving, stationary and everything that my heart tells me to shoot. it felt good and kinda liberating. its a bit hot, streaty and tiring from going in so many places but felt that i managed to take a good few shot.
here are some of the photos i took.
the one with us, knocking on strangers houses and asking permission to post.
the guy whom we asked for directions.
a window view from where we parked the van.

on the picture, did a little bit of adjustment, simply emphasizing the focal point.retaining the pink shirt, the yellow sign and simply blurring the sides of the guy pushing the cart.
these are simply some random pictures that i took, not necessary knowing the reason why but i took it. i find some good angles or reason for it but i just cant explain. if you know what i mean.

Pop Art
"The term first appeared in Britain during the 1950s and referred to the interest of a number of artists in the images of mass media, advertising, comics and consumer products. The 1950s were a period of optimism in Britain following the end of war-time rationing, and a consumer boom took place. Influenced by the art seen in Eduardo Paolozzi's 1953 exhibition Parallel between Art and Life at the Institute for Contemporary Arts, and by American artists such as Jasper Johns and Robert Rauschenberg, British artists such as Richard Hamilton and the Independent Group aimed at broadening taste into more popular, less academic art. Hamilton helped organize the 'Man, Machine, and Motion' exhibition in 1955, and 'This is Tomorrow' with its landmark image Just What is it that makes today's home so different, so appealing? (1956). Pop Art therefore coincided with the youth and pop music phenomenon of the 1950s and '60s, and became very much a part of the image of fashionable, 'swinging' London. Peter Blake, for example, designed album covers for Elvis Presley and the Beatles and placed film stars such as Brigitte Bardot in his pictures in the same way that Warhol was immortalizing Marilyn Monroe in the USA. Pop art came in a number of waves, but all its adherents - Joe Trilson, Richard Smith, Peter Phillips, David Hockney and R.B. Kitaj - shared some interest in the urban, consumer, modern experience."

on is this pop art?
